RED ORCHESTRA 2 RISING STORM NOT SHOWING MOD
I could be wrong though and it will still be a mod for the next RO game cause I think they would have to buy the engine er something like that to develop the game ? not 100% sure how that works though. Probably a smart move for the developers as it will probably go full retail price. Initially suppose to come out as a mod of RO2 with the UE3 engine but I guess the developers decided to bring it to the new engine as a game by it-self. There is suppose to be a Vietnam version of it coming out on the UE4 engine called, In Country: Vietnam. What a bonus for the people in that community. The more I thought about it the stronger I felt that it was in part the slow play of the game. To code lag compensation for the random movement of players in unreal tournament is very very far away from the pixel sniping gameplay of Rising Storm. (CQC is still often dice rolling in a tornado though).įor a fast paced game 5v5 on a simple map is as far as it is sensible to push it with todays internett and a competetive enviroment in mind. Ro servers often use client side hit detection and this combined with the slow *** gameplay of RO makes 64 players possible. The devs worked for ages on making good lag compensation, only to be outdone totally by a skillfull memeber of the RO community that made a very good lag compensation algorithm. P.S: could somebody please explain to me the difference between: 'RO2: Heroes of Stalingrad with Rising Storm. I'm situated in Australia and I was wondering whether there's anyone still playing on the servers I have access to. In the start Tripwire Interactive's decision to use both punk buster and steam VAC made the latency in the game really horrible. Hi there, I'm an RS2 fan considering getting 'Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad with Rising Storm' this steam sale. The whole story of how Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm ended up with a good netcode is a nice one. Rising Storm is a very different case to that of Unreal.
